DocRoute™ Overview
Your company's content can be distributed to members of your organization electronically using either pre-defined or "on the fly" routing rules. DocRoute is a module within Sage Paperless Construction that allows you to distribute document images for review and/or approval.
You can route around any type of document for review/approval. For example, a vacation request form or contract for review and approval. You have options to route with or without requiring approvals and can decide if you want it returned to you once the route is complete.
With DocRoute, you no longer have to worry about routed documents languishing in a reviewer's inbox without their knowledge. Your reviewers and approvers can be notified when documents are routed to their inboxes. Additionally, you can monitor the progress of the documents you have routed.
Document routing is an optional Sage Paperless Construction module that requires a license. It is essentially a secure, configurable email service within the system. Documents can be sent through Sage Paperless Construction using DocRoute™, for approval or just to be reviewed.
