APFlow™ Allocation Rules

Allocations rules identify when to apply a certain allocation, thus saving Processors time when entering invoices. For instance, Processors no longer need to remember what allocation goes to which vendor.

  1. From My Paperless, click APFlow™ Settings.

  2. In the APFlow™ Settings navigation bar, click Allocation Rules.

    A page similar to the following displays:

  3. From the Allocation Rules page you can add, edit or delete both percentage-based and fixed amount allocation rules.

  1. Click Add.

    The follow Create Allocation Rule - General Properties dialog displays:

  2. In the Name field, enter the rule name.

  3. In the Description field, enter a description.

  4. If the allocation rule should be active, select the Active check box. Otherwise, leave it blank.

  5. Click Next.

    1. In the Create Allocation Rule - Rules page, click the Plus add_circle_icon.png icon to display Add Group and Add Condition.

    2. Click either Add Group or Add Condition.

    3. In the grid, create the rule for when the selected allocation applies.

  6. Click Done.

  1. From the main Allocation Rules page, click the Edit edit_square-pen_icon.svg icon to select an existing allocation from the list.

    The Allocations Rule Properties page displays with the General tab active:

  2. Make the necessary changes.

  3. (Optional) In the Assigned Allocations sections, you can add, delete or reorder the allocations using this rule.

  4. Click Save.

  5. If there are changes to the rules, click the Rules tab.

  6. From here you can edit, add or remove conditions for this rule.

  7. Click Save.

  1. From the main Allocation Rules page, select an existing allocation from the list.

  2. Click Delete.

    A Delete Allocation Rule confirmation dialog displays:

  3. Click Confirm.

    The selected rule is permanently deleted from the Allocations list.
